No. It is not mandatory
with the pay monthly contract deals. However, insurance cover
is free for 1st 3 months and thereafter chargeable at £
5.99 per month. Insurance can be cancelled anytime by giving
30 days written notice.
What does the policy
cover?
The policy covers your
mobile phone against theft, Accidental Damage and Breakdown
within the territorial limits during the period of Insurance.

How much is my Premium and how will it be collected?
For the first three months
of your contract, you do not need to pay any premium. From
the 4th Month onwards you will be required to pay a premium
of £ 5.99 per month. The premium will be collected via
direct debit from your bank account.
Can I avail phone
Insurance if I am a non UK resident?
Unfortunately this policy
is only meant for people who are residents of the UK.
How do I make a
claim, if my phone has been stolen?
First of all contact your
network service provider and have the phone line barred to
prevent any unauthorized calls.
Inform the police and obtain a Crime Reference Number.
Contact the claim processing
department, details is given in the policy document which
will be sent along with the package.
How long does it
take for any insurance claim to be processed?
It generally takes three
working days in case the phone needs to be replaced. However
if the phone needs to be repaired, it would take around 8
to 10 working days.
